About the Author

Susan Kelleher

 Susan Kelleher holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Western Michigan University as well as an MBA and an MS in Counseling Psychology from George Williams College. She has taught writing, psychology, and business courses at several colleges and universities, including Indiana University at South Bend. She was a counselor at the University of Denver and presently teaches college English Composition. 
About the Illustrator

The illustrator, Rod Lawrence, is a professional wildlife artist, the only one to have won both the Michigan Trout Stamp and Michigan Duck Stamp contests in the same year, 1995. He has painted seven total Michigan stamp designs. He is the author of Painting Wildlife Textures published by North Light Books.
